as it relates to using a P4WNP1

You Raspberry Pi Zero will have three connections accessible and while they are labeled, I didn’t immediately make note of that. Using the picture above, I’ll talk about each of these ports.

  1. The port farthest to the left in this picture, just below the MicroSD card slot is the Mini HDMI port. Depending on the kit you bought, you may have received a HDMI to Mini HDMI adapter. Use of this port in the P4WNP1 isn’t necessary, but it is kind of fun to attach a monitor and see what is happening as the P4WNP1 does it’s thing.

  2. The middle port, or the left most MicroUSB port is for data connection or USB Connection to the computer. This is the port you’ll be using when plugging it into target machine. This is the port that is will also be used when configure and initially connect to the P4WNP1 via ssh.

When you plug this in, it will automatically install appropriate drivers to Windows 10 and higher computers.

  1. The right most MicroUSB port is for power. This would be the port to use if you have configured a wifi access point and you wish to connect via ssh for configuration.
